Fiber Retreat and Class Schedules

Lambs & Family Felting
Come meet our new lambs and then join us for a family felting
activity.  Each family will make a felted wall hanging to take home.
$25/family (one wall hanging) All children must be accompanied
by a parent.

Sheep & Wool Week
Fiber filled week for children ages 7-11
$150/child includes all supplies.
Mon.-Fri. 10am-2:00pm
Children participate in chores, learn about the animals on the farm,
and explore the fiber arts of felting, weaving, and spinning. Bring
a bag lunch.
August 24-28, 2009

Jr. Sheep & Wool Week
Fiber filled week for children ages 4-6
$75/child includes all supplies.
Mon.-Wed.-Fri. 10am-1:00pm
Children come for a half a day to learn about farm life and for
hands on fun with fiber. Bring a bag lunch.
July 6,8,10, 2009

Mommy & Me Sheep & Wool Week
Fiber filled week for children ages 7-11 and their moms.
$150/child and $125 for moms includes all supplies.
Mon.-Fri. 10am-2:00pm
Children participate in chores, learn about the animals on the farm,
and explore the fiber arts of felting, weaving, and spinning. Moms
learn how to go from sheep to yarn. Bring a lunch.
July 13-17, 2009

Spinning & Carding
Introduction to fiber preparation and spinning using a drop
spindle for teens and adults.  Bring a bag lunch.

Natural Dye Class
An introduction to using plants and herbs as natural dyes for
teens and adults.  Bring a bag lunch.
10am-3pm

Nuno Felting
An introduction to nuno felting for teens and adults.

If these class times do not work for you, inquire about
custom fiber classes for your group. Tell us what you
would like to learn, (wet felting, nuno felting, drop
spindle, carding, natural dyes) bring us your group, and
we will design a class to meet your needs and schedule .

Rates and Payment:
All rates subject to change without notice. We accept cash, personal checks, and Pay Pal.  Payment in full is due
upon arrival. All rates include a material fee. For full day classes, please bring a bag lunch.
Deposit Policy
Reservations will be confirmed by a deposit of one half of the class fee.  
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are non-refundable unless class space can be filled with another student. We reserve the right to cancel
classes within 15 days prior to class if there are not enough students enrolled.  All deposits will then be returned or
applied towards another class.
Participation Policy
For the safety of your child and our animals, all children must be able to listen,  follow directions, and cooperate
with their teacher.
